Pelvic Health & Stability

Pelvic anatomy of a woman

🧘‍♀️ Private therapeutic movement sessions to restore pelvic function, ease discomfort, and build lasting strength.

Support for pelvic health is delivered through an integrated Movement Therapy framework, combining structured strength work, therapeutic mobility training, postural re-education, and progressive load management to restore efficient, resilient movement patterns.

The pelvis is central to movement, posture, core strength, and emotional grounding — yet pelvic issues are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Whether you're managing pain, instability, or recovery after childbirth, these private sessions offer a safe, supportive space to rebuild trust in your body and restore integrated pelvic function.

You’ll work exclusively with a certified Pilates teacher trainer with extensive experience in post-rehabilitation and women’s health—offering expert, personalised support to help you rebuild strength, restore balance, and move with renewed confidence.

🔍 Understanding Pelvic Pain & Instability

The pelvic region is home to your pelvic floor muscles, hips, sacroiliac (SI) joints, and deep core — a complex network that stabilises the spine and supports daily movement.

When something is off in this region, it can affect how you sit, stand, walk, exercise, or even breathe.

Common pelvic health issues I work with include:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction (tightness, weakness, or poor coordination)

  • SI joint pain or instability

  • Postpartum pelvic pain or prolapse support

  • Chronic hip or low back pain linked to pelvic misalignment

  • Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)

  • Core disconnection or “dead zone” after childbirth or abdominal surgery

  • Incontinence, urgency, or heaviness symptoms

  • Postural instability, especially after injury, pregnancy, or long periods of immobility

Many clients come in not knowing their symptoms are related to pelvic imbalance — only to discover the deep relief that comes from reconnecting this essential part of the body.

🧠 How My Sessions Support Pelvic Health

Each session is fully personalised, helping you rediscover stability, improve function, and feel at home in your body again — whether you’re recovering postpartum, managing ongoing pain, or seeking proactive pelvic care.

🧘 Pelvis-Informed Core Reconnection
Rebuild the coordination of your deep core muscles — the diaphragm, pelvic floor, transverse abdominis (TVA), and multifidus — for more efficient movement and postural control.

🦴 SI Joint Stability & Pelvic Alignment Work
Use targeted strengthening and subtle mobility techniques to support your sacroiliac joints and reduce compensatory pain in the hips, back, or legs.

🤸 Release Work for Hypertonic or Guarded Muscles
Restore muscle balance through gentle somatic movement, breath-led relaxation, and myofascial techniques to calm tension in the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles.

🌬️ Breath & Nervous System Integration
Explore diaphragmatic breathing to support intra-abdominal pressure (IAP), release gripping patterns, and downregulate the nervous system for healing and calm.

🧠 Education, Posture & Habit Support
Learn strategies for pelvic-safe lifting, walking, standing, and daily habits that reinforce what we build in our sessions.
